I was feeling inspired...

This year, my Christmas tree needed a little "punch" to help it out. We have a very traditional Christmas tree. We are partial to old family ornaments and ornaments that represent something we love or given to us by someone we love. I love colored lights both solid for consistent lighting and blinking to give the tree motion. I know what I like for our tree.

This year, because of a minor remodeling of the living room, I had to rethink where all the Christmas decorations were going to find homes. I will have to say that some did not make the cut...but because I manage a thrift store they found re-purposing. I decided to update and freshen everything with some new decorations that give the whole room a little more consistency.

So how to tie the Tree into the whole "theming" process?

Stay tuned for an update from a blogger from days gone by. I'm hoping to become inspired to start using this space again. It may be for new thoughts from my life or maybe the same old things that I hold dear.
