What the heck is this??

Welcome to my new reoccurring segment. It seems only appropriate that a new job will bring along new segments and interesting human interest stories. I'm sure the great stories will come when I actually have two seconds to spend on the sales floor.

On a daily basis we will receive at least one pick up truck load of donations. These donations are full of all kinds of merchandise, to use the term lightly. There is always something in the boxes that has a questionable use. So today I bring the first installation of:


What the heck is this???

It is made by Sterilite, so we're guessing some kind of kitchen/office utility unit. Any of your thoughts would be welcome.

    Lori, it's so obvious, I can't believe you didn't figure it out. CLEARLY it's a downhill slalom practice course for gerbils. Duh.

    I have nooooo idea......maybe a microwave bacon cooker...you put it in the slots so it doesnt shrink up to nothing while it cooks...hehehe seriously I have no clue...sure hope you find out and tell us!!!

    I was also thinking a knife holder with the slots like they are.....Who knows? and frankly why would someone donate something like that? :-)

    OK, I read this ages ago and didn't answer then. It IS a knife holder. I have one in my kitchen drawer and love it.
