We split up the tasks and went to work. In trying to keep Jenna motivated to get the vacuuming finished I was prodding her along and she had the audacity, gull, gumption, nerve, pre-teen loss of her senses to say to her wonderful mother, "why can't you do some of the vacuuming?" as if I was doing nothing of significance. I obviously am now entering the world of the pre-teen, the world where seemingly sweet wonderful children are becoming people, trying to find their own way. Wow!!!
Wow . . . how did you manage to get to pre-teen before that happened?!
