Super Bowl...that's football, right?

I am a reluctant small group member, I admit it. Our church started a small group program about two years ago and to say that I didn't want to be a part of it would be a huge understatement. I am a pragmatic person, I very rarely show a "gushy" side. I imagined small groups to be very touchy-feely and thought I had no use for one.

I will have to say that sometimes I am still a reluctant member but I really enjoy the people that make up our group. It really is never a bunch of people wanting me to share things that I don't want to share, I've never had to do meditation or chanting or any kind. So far their expectations of me have been very realistic and I seem to be functioning without any major meltdowns. These are great people that I really do have things in common with, some I knew well, some I knew in passing and some I didn't know well at all. But now I count them on my list of friends. If they facebook me to be my friend I will not ignore them, I will confirm any of them right away.

So we had a Super Bowl Party. I don't really watch football but I do like to play most table games and I love to eat, and these people bring great food. I made my group pose for pictures and promised to make them famous by posting them on my blog.

Here are my friends from my small group (minus a few who I will get the next time around). Any resemblance to someone famous or to someone you may know is purely a coincidence. Enjoy!
